With Ascension, the Tetragon Project presents a groundbreaking album that redefines the boundaries of immersive 3D sound. At the heart of the project is composer and audio producer Stefan Zaradic, once again serving as the creative driving force behind the musical vision. Following the success of Oracles (2021), Zaradic expands the sonic palette with Ascension, blending avant-garde soundscapes with pulsating rhythms to craft a unique and captivating listening experience.

Zaradic is supported by a distinguished ensemble: long-time co-producer and acclaimed saxophone and flute player Wolfgang Opitz, and percussionist Wolfram Winkel, an expert in minimal music who has gained international recognition through collaborations with Steve Reich, among others. 
Additional musical inspiration was provided by guest singer Melani Bong and multi-instrumentalist Martin Kälberer.

Compared to its predecessor Oracles, Ascension ventures into new territory: powerful beats and rhythmic pulses weave through the intricate soundscapes, shaped by intensive improvisation sessions, adding a dynamic and cinematic depth to the album.
